E2001/02/03 ringsted-fehmarn banen,
civil works.

The contract covers the design, planning and execution of civil works. This includes earthworks and works in regard to sub-ballast, ballast, storm water drainage, structures etc. in connection with the upgrade of the railway line between Ringsted and Fehmarn:

 

The contract has been divided into 3 lots:

 

E 2001 - Ringsted-Vordingborg

Tender package E 2001 covers the execution of civil works located in the geographic area of southern Zealand. The rail line is currently a single-track rail line and the scope of works includes amogst others the following main elements:

 

  • Approx. 2,3 km single track rail embankment and ballast incl. drainage

  • Approx. 10,4 km double track rail embankment and ballast incl. drainage

  • 3 fauna and/ or water passages

  • 3 bridge structures to be demolished and roads to be closed

  • Approx. 13 km of noise barriers along track

E2002 - Falster

This tender package covers the execution of civil works on the Island of Falster. The rail line is currently a single-track rail line, and the scope of work generally includes adding an additional track as well as replacing the ballast and the sub-ballast of the existing track. The scope of works includes amongst otehrs the following main components:

 

  • Approx. 15.000 m3 soft soil replacement

  • Approx. 3 km single track rail embankment and ballast incl. drainage

  • Approx. 19 km double track rail embankment and ballast incl. drainage

  • Approx. 38 water passages

  • 2 pedestrian tunnels with partial renewing of waterproofing under the tracks

 

E2003 - Lolland

The civil works within the tender package E 2003 are to be executed on the Island of Lolland. The rail line is currently a single-track rail line, and the scope of work generally includes adding an additional track as well as replacing the ballast and the sub-ballast of the existing track. Amongst others, the following main works are included:

 

  • Approx. 124.000 m3 soft soil replacement

  • Approx. 4 km single track rail embankment and ballast incl. drainage

  • Approx. 31 km double track rail embankment and ballast incl. drainage
