The Tender Package "TP 40 Copenhagen-Ringsted, Bridges & Earth Works" from Ishøj to Køge Nord is a Design & Build contract that covers the majority of civil works associated with the construction of the new railway line for the South Section of the Copenhagen to Ringsted HSL.
The contract covers the design and execution of 18 km of soil work including 70 structures like fauna passages, bridges and retaining walls. The contract consists in the first 5,7 km earth works and the construction of small fauna passages, and in the last 12,5 km also the construction of bridges, as well as roads, fauna passages, retaining walls and embankments. A number of roads will need to be either relocated or reconstructed. The earth works on the alignment includes both local earth balances as well as the total earth balance.
In total, there will be etsbalished 1.000.000 m3 earth works, 2 pipe underpasses, 6 fauna passages, partly with pedestrian tunnel, 5 pedestrian tunnels, 2 pedestrian bridges, 2 railway underpasses, 4 railway overpasses, 1 valley crossing bridge, 11 retaining walls as well as 22 pipes for fauna passages.
